About
News UK
Flexible working
Our people are at the centre of everything we do - and we are committed to providing them with the support they need to thrive at work. Talk to us about the flexibility that's important to you. We provide multiple flexible working options.
Many of our people work in a hybrid way; most roles have the option of two remote working days per week.
Wellbeing
Wellbeing enables our colleagues to achieve their full potential and thrive, both in and out of the workplace. Here are some of the things on offer to support that here at News UK.
We have an Occupational Health team of experienced professionals to provide advice and support. We offer discounted gym memberships, access to counselling and guidance through a 24/7 phoneline from Health Assured, and private healthcare with AXA. All of our people can use the meditation app Headspace, Peppy health app (menopause, men’s health, fertility and new baby support) and Classpass at home fitness class app. We also have a network of Mental Health First Aiders.
Our variety of wellbeing initiatives and guest speakers throughout the year look at mental, physical and financial wellbeing.
Volunteer Days
From beach clean-ups, to planting trees, we give our people the opportunity to take up to four days paid leave each year to take part in volunteering, and some teams choose to take these days together. News Corp will also match fund any charity fundraising or volunteering you choose to do.
