The Times and The Sunday Times are joining literary forces to launch Crime Club, a free monthly email bulletin for Times+ members.
Starting on Thursday June 25, subscribers will get exclusive news highlighting the top titles being published that month, plus interviews with the stars of crime including New York Times best-selling author Sara Paretsky, who will be featured in the first edition.
Subscribers will also have access to first chapter previews, reviews and a ‘top picks’ section from writers including the ‘queen of crime’ India Knight.
Crime Club will hold regular events in London and around the United Kingdom with top authors and journalists from The Times and The Sunday Times.
Eleanor Mills, Editorial Director of The Sunday Times, said:
This signals an exciting new chapter for our 400,000 Times+ members and follows the extraordinary success of our other clubs including Times Books and The Sunday Times Wine Club. Crime is hugely popular with our readers, so it’s no surprise that 1,500 members have already signed up to Crime Club. We’ll be looking to see how we can expand its scope and activities, working closely with authors, publishers and booksellers.
