News UK's Muslim Network marked the end of Ramadan last week with a fantastic celebration of Eid events.
The network organised a Palestinian-themed feast in the TNB canteen, with network members and colleagues gathering to enjoy sumac roasted chicken, sweet potato hummus, baklava and much more. Hamdan Mann, Security Admin and a member of the network, was in the kitchen throughout lunch helping the team serve the delicious meal.
In the evening the group hosted an Eid networking party with canapés, conversation and good company. A henna artist was at the event and created the most gorgeous designs for attendees in under two minutes.
The network was also thrilled to welcome News UK’s CEO, Rebekah Brooks, for the joyous occasion.
Sharin Hussain, Apprentice Journalist at The Times and co-chair of the Muslim Network, said: “Everyone had the best time and enjoyed the inclusion. Onwards and upwards to more exciting events that the Muslim Network hope to host!”
