News UK CEO, Rebekah Brooks, introduced a packed event at The News Building recently, with Unruly’s Co-CEO and founder Sarah Wood, to discuss the new acquisition.
Brooks remarked on the great brand fit between Unruly and News UK, before Unruly’s founder spoke about the psychology of advertising and what the recent acquisition means for Unruly and News UK.
An engaged audience asked a range of questions including how Unruly will work with News Corp owned Storyful and what the future holds for social media.
The self confessed “accidental entrepreneur” who also lectures at Cambridge, explained how the company "focuses on creating better content and targeting content at users who actually want to watch it."
“We've worked on the biggest campaigns in the world and we absolutely love what we do. For us it's a privilege to be working with brands who really care about video and care about content.”
Unruly will be hosting a ‘Future Video Lab’ stand at The News Building soon for News UK staff.
