News UK’s Corporate Affairs team received a highly-commended accolade in the prestigious PR Week Awards at the Grosvenor on London’s Park Lane on October 20.

Corporate Affairs landed the gong in the best in-house team gold award section.

The team beat fellow finalists McDonald’s UK, Sport England and uSwitch.com, finishing runners-up to Transport for London. The event, hosted by Pointless TV show duo Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman, attracted 900 people.

Newsprinters Eurocentral were also highly-commended in the Newspaper Printer of the Year category of the Print Week Awards in London on October 19.
