The Sunday Times notched up a stunning hat-trick success at the Amnesty Media Awards in central London.

The Barbican was the venue on November 26 for the awards as renowned foreign correspondent Christina Lamb scooped the national newspapers award for her report on migrants in Libya.

Tommy Trenchard took the honours in the photojournalism category for his work on ebola in West Africa.

Gabriella Jozwiak won the Gaby Rado memorial award for journalists who have been reporting for less than five years, again for her ebola coverage.
