The Times and The Sunday Times both recorded a double triumph at the annual LSL Property Press Awards last night (Monday).
At the awards ceremony, held at Northumberland Avenue in London, The Sunday Times’ Home section won the blue-ribbon National Newspaper Property Supplement of the Year gong.
The News UK title’s other success came with Oliver Shah’s triumph in the National Newspaper Property Business Journalist of the Year category.
The Times’ Bricks & Mortar supplement editor Anne Ashworth was triumphant in the Property Columnist of the Year category, while colleague Carol Lewis retained her International Property Journalist of the Year crown.

Silver: National Newspaper Property Staff Journalist of the Year, Carol Lewis (T) and National Newspaper Property Supplement of the Year, Bricks & Mortar (T).
Bronze: International Property Journalist of the Year, Emma Wells (ST); National Newspaper Garden Journalist of the Year, Rachel de Thame (ST); National Newspaper Lifestyle and Interiors Journalist of the Year, Katrina Burroughs (ST) and Property Columnist of the Year, Carol Lewis (T).
• Federica Cocco, who recently left The Times to join the Financial Times, won the Digital Writer of the Year accolade at the inaugural Words by Women Awards held at the Groucho Club in London last night (Monday).
