The Sunday Times’ Style magazine is releasing its biggest ever Spring Fashion Special this Sunday 28th February. The issue has achieved an 8% increase in ad revenue on Spring 2015’s issue and will be compiled of 148 perfectly bound, glossy pages, up from last year’s 136. The Spring Fashion Special also includes 10 double-page advertising spreads, a Style magazine record.
The commercial success was the result of an extensive campaign by News UK Commercial that saw them successfully promote Style’s ability to reach an upmarket, engaged audience of 1.4 million adults each week.
Style’s annual Spring Fashion Special has four unique front covers, featuring stars including Winona Ryder and Cara Delevingne. A range of new luxury brands will appear in the issue, including Issey Miyake, Dolce & Gabbana, The Outnet, Hobbs, Stuart Weitzman, Marella, Bao Bao, Joseph and Claudie Pierlot.
The four collectable Style covers include:
- Winona Ryder – the iconic American actress talks frankly about her life and inspiration
- Cara Delevingne – the model and actress on life in Hollywood, shot by renowned photographer Ellen Von Unwerth
- Mariacarla Boscono - the supermodel wears Givenchy, while the brand’s designer Riccardo Tisci talks to The Sunday Times’ Head of Fashion, Claudia Croft, about how his eight sisters and poverty-stricken upbringing in southern Italy fuelled his success
- Sabina Lobova - the new face of Prada, models this season's fashion collections
Editor of Style, Jackie Annesley, said:
As The Business of Fashion recently reported, fashion and luxury supplements are thriving in what is otherwise a difficult monthly magazine market. As a weekly title, we can be more agile and responsive to breaking trends and fashion business stories. We always aim to be agenda-setting and adventurous, while continuing to supply our readers with the very best edit of high street and high-end fashion. It keeps us looking fresh and relevant in a fast-moving digital world.
