Jeremy Kyle to host new TalkTV show - A look…

Jeremy Kyle is to host a new prime time show on TalkTV, delivering a review of the day’s news with viewers at its heart.

Jeremy, who joined News UK last September as Drive Time host on TalkRadio, had already appeared on new prime time panel show The Talk as a surprise guest earlier this week, alongside Sharon Osbourne.

When it launches, his new show will join The News Desk with Tom Newton Dunn, Piers Morgan Uncensored and The Talk in the prime time segment of TalkTV later this year. Until then, Jeremy will continue to host Drive Time, simulcast on TalkTV and TalkRadio, as well as guesting on The Talk. Since joining TalkRadio at Drive Time, Jeremy has driven 25% growth in reach on the quarter and 51% growth year-on-year, according to RAJAR analysis.

Jeremy Kyle said: “I’ve absolutely loved going back to my radio roots these last seven months. It’s been a lot of hard work but a lot of fun too - interviewing everyone from Jacob Rees-Mogg to Eddie The Eagle Edwards but also speaking to listeners every day about the things that mean most to them.

"The radio show has done really well but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to host my own TV show too!”

Scott Taunton, EVP, President of Broadcasting, News UK said: “Jeremy Kyle is a consummate broadcaster. He has made a big impact since joining TalkRadio last year and I’m delighted that he has agreed to launch a new show on TalkTV, building out our prime time schedule later this year.”

A bold new voice in news, current affairs, debate and opinion, TalkTV launched at 7pm on Monday 25 April and is available on Sky Channel 526, Virgin Media Channel 627, Freeview Channel 237 and Freesat Channel 217. TalkTV is also streamed via Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung TV Plus and on YouTube, as well as via the Talk.TV website and TalkTV iOS and Android apps. TalkTV is also available via Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter.

In a global first, the new and unique sixty minute daily show will be broadcast on weeknights in the UK on TalkTV, streamed on FOX Nation in the US and aired in Australia on Sky News Australia

The primetime launch schedule also features The Talk with the legendary Sharon Osbourne. Airing weeknights on TalkTV, the panel debate brings together five opinionated famous faces - all from different backgrounds and with differing views - to debate the most interesting stories of the day. Covering topics from the UK and around the world, the panellists serve up their outspoken views in an honest and straight-talking debate. Across sixty minutes, the five personalities deep-dive into the issues most affecting viewers, from news to politics, crime to health and entertainment to sport.

TalkTV’s primetime schedule also simulcasts on TalkRadio. And TalkRadio’s roster of daytime talent, including Julia Hartley-Brewer, Mike Graham, Ian Collins and Jeremy Kyle, broadcast on TalkTV. TalkRadio has seen fast growth in recent years across all platforms, including digital radio and the TalkRadio app, on YouTube and has been broadcasting successfully on TalkRadio TV since last year.
