talkSPORT releases Football Trivia board game in time for Christmas gifting
7th November 2023: talkSPORT, the world's biggest sports radio station, has launched a brand new board game - talkSPORT Football Trivia. The new football trivia game is designed with a light-hearted, broad family appeal, with hundreds of quiz questions on everything from Which team had the memorable odds of 5000/1 to win the Premier League? to Which former footballer attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding?
The board game was created by the team at Big Sky Games who are involved with best selling board games such as Catch Phrase, Blankety Blank, In For a Penny, The Love Island Party Game and the new Deal or No Deal game.
The launch of the game will be supported by a heavyweight marketing campaign on talkSPORT radio, across its huge social and digital channels, and on its sister stations, talkRADIO, Times Radio, Virgin Radio UK and TalkTV. The stations reach over 6 million listeners every week with a digital reach of over 12m across the UK.
The game retails at £19.99 and will be available to purchase at Sports Direct, House of Fraser, Game, Amazon, Sainsburys, Argos and all good toy retailers. It is also available directly from talkSPORT at talkSPORT.com/shop.
Alan Brazil, former footballer and current talkSPORT Presenter said, “The new talkSPORT Football Trivia board game is great fun, with loads of questions anyone could have a chance of answering - even Gabby Agbonlahor.”
Greg Collier, Director of Big Sky Games commented, "We've always felt there was a gap in the market for a good football trivia board game and in talkSPORT we've found a brilliant partner. They have been involved from the start in devising and developing the product and we're really pleased that we have created a great fun game.”
