Black at Cannes
At Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2023, News UK partnered with Black At Cannes, a non-profit organisation curated to ensure inclusivity for Black professionals in advertising on a global scale.
Dominic Carter, EVP, Publisher, The Sun, spoke at the 'Business Brunch', which brought together leading CMOs from across the industry. He was joined by other industry experts to discuss the importance of diversity, wealth and inclusion in the media industry.
Meanwhile Shelley Bishton, Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at News UK, joined a panel discussion about the power of the Black Pound and News UK's sponsorship of The Black Pound Report. The discussion focussed on the impact of Black consumers on the economy, the opportunities available to Black professionals and the importance of inclusive marketing strategies. Find out more here.
