News UK and The Network for Black and Asian Journalists partner for a careers event
The Network for Black and Asian Journalists (NBAJ) is a growing LinkedIn community for Black and Asian journalists in the UK. Its primary objective is to provide immediate job notifications from major news organisations in radio, publishing, and TV. The network proudly collaborates with partners such as News UK, ITN, and The Lenny Henry Centre, among others.
On 8th June from 12pm - 1:30pm, NBAJ is hosting its first virtual career event in partnership with News UK, which will cover topics including personal brand, leadership in journalism, and CVs for journalism. Speakers will include Annika Allen of All3Media Group, Marcus Ryder MBE, Ronke Phillips of ITV News and ITN, and Mark Hudson of News UK.
During the event, the hosts will share their career journeys before transitioning into breakout rooms, during which you will have the opportunity to participate and ask questions.
