The Sun has signed former England legend, Terry Venables, to present one of its flagship Sun FC football shows.
Sun FC is The Sun’s new football channel exclusive to Sun+. Members will get fantastic comment and analysis of all the week’s Barclays Premier League action every day online, and on the move via tablet and smartphone.
From Sunday 18 August, Terry will present his weekly show ‘Tel’s Technical Area’ where he’ll review the best goals and biggest incidents from Saturday’s Barclays Premier League action. Terry joins Ian Wright and former Sky Sports News and Al Jazeera Sport presenter, Samantha Johnson, who will present The Sun afternoon and early morning shows respectively.
Sun FC is part of Sun+ Goals, the incredible new football package that comes with Sun+ and rewards members with near-live clips of all 380 Barclays Premier League games soon after the final whistle and hours before the competition goes on air.
Terry Venables, said: “I am absolutely delighted to be hosting my own Sun football show. This is a hugely exciting time for The Sun as it moves into the world of football broadcasting.”
