talkSPORT wins Campaign Media Awards with Macmillan
talkSPORT's partnership with Macmillan has won in the Branded Content - Radio category at Campaign's Media Awards this year. To encourage men to talk about their health, Macmillan created a safe space for men to talk about their own experiences via a partnership with talkSPORT.
The campaign took over the White and Jordan mid-morning show on talkSPORT and invited sporting icons to share their vulnerabilities and set a positive example in normalising the conversation. These talks were delivered by sporting heroes including snooker legend Jimmy White and footballer Sol Bamba, both of whom shared their intimate accounts of living with cancer.
