Times Radio partners with BFBS
Times Radio programming will today be available to British forces overseas via military charity and media organisation BFBS, which provides radio and television programmes for His Majesty's Armed Forces, and their dependents, worldwide.
The new partnership will see Jane Garvey and Fi Glover’s popular afternoon programme broadcast to forces personnel and their families serving overseas on BFBS Radio 2, 1500-1700 UKT, Monday to Thursday. It will air in The Falklands, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Germany and Brunei and will also be beamed live to Royal Navy vessels across the globe.
Jane Garvey and Fi Glover said: “We are excited to welcome British forces and their families all over the world to our show. We hope that bringing them together for a daily live radio show should be both enjoyable, and a must-listen”.
This extension forms part of an existing relationship between News UK Broadcasting and BFBS, which currently distributes talkSPORT live sports commentaries.
