Members of the C2ES Business Environmental Leadership Council, along with innovative technology developers and other companies across the value chain, are taking part in a technology working group aimed at accelerating the commercial deployment of engineered carbon removal (ECR). Engineered carbon removal is a necessary complement to industrial decarbonization and the transition to clean energy. The working group is focused on direct air capture (DAC) and biomass with carbon removal and storage. It is a living venue for collaboration and problem-solving across the entire ECR value chain. C2ES will curate working group discussions based on the interest of attendees and aim to explore key technology, market, and policy opportunities.
C2ES is a partner in the Direct Air Capture Coalition, a community of more than 90 companies and organizations focused on mobilizing DAC solutions. C2ES is excited to contribute policy expertise to the coalition and connect with select coalition members involved in the Engineered Carbon Removal Working Group.
