talkSPORT wins radio rights to Anthony Joshua vs Jermaine Franklin in London

London, Friday 17th March 2023: talkSPORT has won the radio rights to former world boxing champion Anthony Joshua's comeback fight against Jermaine Franklin at The O2 in London. Fight Night Coverage will start from 7.30pm on Saturday 1st April on talkSPORT 2, with the main event on talkSPORT from 9pm.

The commentary team includes former boxer Spencer Oliver, Adam Catterall, Gareth A Davies and match commentator Andy Clarke, who will deliver punch-by-punch commentary of every moment live from the O2 in London. 

In addition talkSPORT mid-morning hosts Jim White and Simon Jordan will cover the press conference on Thursday 30th March, and come live from the weigh-in the following day. 

The fight forms part of ‘Showdown Saturday’ on talkSPORT with exclusive radio coverage of Manchester City’s lunchtime clash with Liverpool, followed by another exclusive Premier League commentary at 3pm and then the Joshua v Franklin clash in the evening.
