News UK
News UK has agreed a deal with UK broadcaster ITV to allow readers of its award winning titles early access to the final stages of this season's FA Cup action.
News UK has already secured FA Cup clips in a four-year deal starting from the 2014/15 season. Securing the rights to the remaining 2013/14 FA Cup rounds is testament to News UK's technological edge and firm commitment to delivering world class digital content to its customers.
Now, under a sub-licensing deal with ITV, subscribers to The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times will be able to access clips when and where they want to via their smart phone, tablets and PCs from 4 January 2014.
News UK Chief Executive, Mike Darcey said: "This deal enhances our sports bundle for readers and furthers our ambition to be the obvious choice of news brand for sports fans. Compelling content is at the heart of the distinct offering which will help News UK deliver its goal of securing a sustainable future for our world-class journalism.
“This partnership proves that long-standing, popular and respected newspaper brands can complement the service offered by our national sports TV broadcasters, ensuring a greater offering for sports fans than ever before.”
