TalkTV launches FAST Channel on Amazon Freevee
TalkTV today announces it is extending its streaming distribution by launching a live streamed FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channel on Amazon Freevee, the ad-supported video-on-demand streaming service which hosts original and licensed programming. TalkTV launched in April 2022 as a bold new voice in news, current affairs, debate and opinion, with an unparalleled talent roster including Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, Vanessa Feltz, Jeremy Kyle and Kate McCann.
From Tuesday 28th February, viewers will be able to access TalkTV directly through Amazon Freevee as a FAST channel. TalkTV is the first news and live talk channel on Amazon Freevee in the UK. The channel will be available through the Amazon Freevee app on Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and within the Prime Video app. It’s also available as an app on third party devices, Android mobile devices, as well as iPhone, and iPad. The launch and subsequent run will be supported by promotional advertising and marketing. This new environment allows TalkTV to reach a wider audience, boosting awareness of the TalkTV brand.
Richard Wallace, Head of TV, News Broadcasting said: “We’re thrilled to launch on Amazon Freevee as the first news and live talk channel on the service in the UK. TalkTV has seen incredible growth over the past 10 months, sharing inspiring and passionate content with our audiences online, via the app, social media, streaming services and on linear TV. This launch allows TalkTV’s unmatched content to be shared with a huge new audience, and we’re eager to share our unique exclusives, opinions and voices on this platform.”
Amazon Freevee, formerly known as IMDb TV, is a streaming video service with thousands of premium movies and TV shows, including Originals and FAST channels, available anytime, for free.
