talkSPORT 2 lands exclusive cricket coverage with Sports Entertainment Network for India v Australia
talkSPORT 2 has today announced it has landed the exclusive cricket broadcasting rights for the four Test series of India v Australia.
The first Test takes place from tomorrow from 4am GMT with the remaining three Tests across February and March.
talkSPORT 2 is partnering with Australian sports radio station Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) and taking their feed live from India. This means talkSPORT 2 will be broadcasting over 200 hours of Test cricket across February and March, including the network’s exclusive coverage of New Zealand v England.
SEN Executive Director, Chris Giannopoulos said: “It’s fantastic for SEN to work closely with the talkSPORT team and provide SEN’s ball-by-ball commentary for what will be an exciting and much anticipated series. We have assembled some of the biggest names in the business for our commentary team who will provide cricket fans in the UK all the insights and analysis throughout the series.”
Head of talkSPORT, Liam Fisher said: “It’s a huge honour for talkSPORT 2 to land these exclusive broadcasting rights in the UK, working with Sports Entertainment Network who will be producing the broadcast live from India. Our network’s unparalleled coverage ensures cricket fans will be able to hear the world’s two best Test sides go head to head.”
