The Sunday Times has won two golds at an awards ceremony recognising the best in British advertising.
The Campaign Big Awards were staged at Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. The annual awards ceremony is one of the highlights of advertising calendar and a barometer on the quality of the UK's creative output.
In the Media and Entertainment category, The Sunday Times grabbed the gold award for the Rich List ‘Fat Cats’ outdoor campaign and the News UK title’s ‘Culture Icons’ TV campaign also struck gold.
Nick Stringer, Chief Creative Officer for News UK, said:
It's further recognition, in front of an important audience who pay to advertise in our titles, of the journey News UK has been on to get to world class marketing communications for our world class products and brands.
The ‘Fat Cats’ Press campaign was a silver award winner.
The Sun's David Dinsmore, and his editorial team, were Highly Commended in the Press category for the innovative and industry-leading The Son front page.
