12 week free home delivery offer launched for Sun readers
The Sun is to give readers 12 weeks of free home delivery of Britain’s biggest selling newspaper.
Starting this Saturday October 4th, The Sun will be continuing its commitment to growing sales through independent retailers by promoting the free delivery offer through the paper.
Over the past 12 months News UK - owners of The Sun - have mapped over 82% of the UK population to a local retailer who will deliver to their home.
Customers have 4 delivery options to choose from - 7 day, Weekend, Saturday only or Sunday only - where the cost of delivery (cost of paper not included) has been valued at £25, £10, £5 and £5 respectively for the promotional period.
Signing up is simple. Customers can visit DeliverMySun.co.uk, search for the retailer of their choice who will deliver to them, enter their personal details and receive their delivery vouchers within 72 hours. Those vouchers are then handed into their chosen retailer alongside the remaining balance of their newspaper bill.
This continued investment in our independent retail partnership follows our extensive Retail + refit programme. During 2014 over 7,000 independent newsagents across the UK and Ireland have been branded with new in-store displays and shop fronts, including striking new awnings adorned with the world-famous brand of The Sun.
News UK Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Duncan, said
Home Delivery is the most convenient way for our readers to get their hands on Britain’s biggest selling newspaper every morning. With the Saturday Edition of The Sun having a circulation in excess of 2.3 million, this represents the largest national offer for Home News Delivery that we have ever promoted. We're very proud of our work with the independent channel and hope this further demonstrates our commitment to putting customers into their shops and money in their pockets.
